Default Baby pondfish??!!

Look what I found in my pond. There is at least 2 that I have seen, but I dont understand??? They are WAY to small (about 3cm) to have survived winter... and surely my goldfish cant have been breeding again already can they?!

How old do you reckon a 3cm long goldfish is, and do you reckon he is late last years, and survived the winter, or what?

Also, the largest fish I have in there are about 5" or so(since easter last year), from spawnings a couple years ago... no adults as such. Are they old enough to breed?

Cool! I have loads in my pond, though they are all quite big now, apart from these two little ones I found.

I would say it has not been warm enough yet for mating to have happened, and for them to have hatched and got to that size. Probably last years that have survived.

Yeh, it def hasn't been warm enough surely... but then for them to survive all winter, with no feeding, at THAT size?! Bloody good going...

If they survive, then I am keeping them... if they die, I'm not! lol... Its up to them to fend for them selves in the pond and get enough food! lol
