Default My tank v.2

Well, as Reiyuu said, we had a terror with our fish tank, and lost a lot of our fish!
Well, we've got a new tank up and running, and now I need to strip out my proper tank. I need to clean it out good and proper, then start it up again.

So, I'Ve got new filters, and new gravel etc. Now I need to decide how to decorate it, and what fish I want in there.

I had a pretty un-natural set up before. Blue gravel, bits of castle, purple plants etc. This time I'm planning on going a lot more natural. I've got some nice natural gravel this time, but I still want to use plastic plants.
Can someone recommend some websites that sell good plastic plants and/or bogwood, nice big stones etc.

The second thing is the actual fish in there. Last time, I had mostly larger interesting fish, 3 plecs, corys, albino shark, angel fish.
This time, I'd like to go a lot more community. I've a soft spot for neon tetra, fighting fish, and harliquins and plecs, so I think those are a must, but can someone recommend some nice scholling (sp) fish who wont cause each other any problems. Basicly, what are your ideal community fish?

By the way, it's a 350l Jewel corner unit, so a fairly large tank, but not going to hold anything like tiger shovelnoses.

rainbowfish are a nice larger shoaling fish.

you could have a large shoal of cories in there... like 10-12?

a breeding trio of BN plecs.

Rainbows are beautiful fish but make sure you go for the smaller species such as threadfins. The large reds and boesmanis are quite capable of swallowing a neon! Regarding neons, get cardinals-much prettier imo!

Lemon Tetra's are one of my fav's
Endler Guppies.
Clown Loaches (my top freshwater fish so I am a bit bias).
Congo Tetra's.
Or if you want something different Blind Cave Tetra's.

Something a bit less hardy

Blue/Gold Cichlid Rams.
Discus.

Hope this helps?

Right, well, our current short list is as follows

Neon, congo, silver tip and lemon tetra,
Harliquins
Female fighters
Guppies (not sure exactly what yet)
Pair of plecs (not sure which yet)
Corys (albino more than likely)
Honey Guarami

Obviously introduced slowly, before anyone starts screaming at me. Hoping to pick up some neons tomorrow as the tank is cycled, decorated, and all the levels are looking good
