my OH has just put her new fluval 1plus in her 4gallon tank as advised by people on here and the guy in the fish shop

its working fine but the water jet is causing a lot of water movment and she says the fish are being pushed about is this ok?

Can you aim the jet towards the glass to "soften" the blow a bit?

shouldnt be too much of a problem for fish but if you want to add plants they wont do to well blowing all over the place.

it is facing the glass i thought of that lol we wont be puting plants in so aslong as the fish are ok its all good

but something like tights over the outlet, to slow it down.

I have done that in my puffer and shrimp tanks.
