Sorry, I was wondering about the US thing because I assumed the lights were being switched on really late... I thought it was the time difference thing

Na no worries. Its nice to show pictures of the tank..... its taken enough work to get it to this stage!!!
The halides come on later as we decided we'd like the lights on when we are at home during the evening. All the lights are on timers so we just chose the tank to have daylight a bit later than us!!!

Fair enough!
