yes.. you can get as elaborate as you want.. spent $30 or $300. just up to the keeper if they want to do things on the cheap that work or invest in a superior system. if you are serious about bettas, it's easy to set up a really nice central system like many shops here in the states have... but if it's just a passing fancy or if you are poor like me, you can do lots of things without breaking the bank..

these fancy bettas don't quite have the immune system as the original, wild types... fungus is a problem.

rectangular tanks are easier to save space too, you can put them up again one another, which you cant do with bowls.

I know a lot of shops that have gone away from the mass tank, one sump system for the reason i've already stated. I know a guy who had a £20,000 sump system installed in his marine shop........it failed killing 1000's of pounds worth of fish and nearly cost him his business

you could just setup a large aquarium with a big filter and put betta boxes in it... easiest way for many bettas.

Most lfs around my way refuse to sell bowls or tiny tanks, and refuse to sell tanks and fish to the buyer at the same time.

This tank was divided by me. Has 3.3 gallons a side

This one is actually divided into 3, each section has 2.5 gallons

What i would say is, if you haven't got room, dont have bettas
