Default baby oscar

hi guys,i got a new baby oscar a few weeks ago.he is so funny not sure if he is a he tho.at feeding time he get so excited and wants the food first that he jumps out of the tank.

sure are, make sure you got a massive filter when he is adult too, they really do need it lol

got two fillters running the tank plus i do two WG a week on the tank.

Whenever i used to keep albino oscars a while back they used to die after a few months so give up with them, sticking to simpler fish now like atfish

Whats the minimum size tank for a single oscar?

this has always been a talking point for oscars,if you give us a bit more info then we would have a better idear.do you want to mix the oscar with other fish or you just looking for one oscar.

i always say if you have got the room then go as big as you can,cos you will only upgrade to a bigger tank.

i'd say a bit larger... maybe 75gallons. still some fishkeepers will say thats too small but meh.

my 50gal is 14" wide, and as oscars get upto 14", 50gal is a bit small.
