anyone got a fully grown female dovii?

Decided that my male deserves some joy in his life since he will be going on a diet soon and will be very grumpy.

looking for 14 inch plus ideally but will consider smaller for the right lady lol

Willing to pay the equivalent of a full retail price (shop price) and offer up to half of any babies produced.

chances of finding a decent female in a shop are tiny.

Problem with these fish is the fact that males can kill females when tring to breed. this means that females are quite high on cichlid keepers wishlists. This is true of most of the big cichlids. particuarly nandopsis and parachromis species.

This particular male was bonded to a female, but he broke through the divide and killed her. I've finally finished a steel divider completely set in plastic coated concrete as a base to stop him moving it around.

I'm considering ordering from Tangled Up in Cichlids (i think thats it) quality fish, and will be ordering a few species.

I've got loads of extra room since all my fish are in tanks way beyond their requirements. So will be dividing up most. Means i will have room for maybe another 50 large cichlids.

If anyone wants anything let me know. I'm not definatley ordering, but if i do i am more than happy to stick it on my bill (obviously you will need to cover the cost of your fish and a very small part of the shipping fee)
