Default Snakeheads

Just picked up a big box of snake heads. I ordered them with a friend from Germany. I got 25 in total, plus 35 birchers:

0.0.5 Channa Bleheri
0.0.2 Channa Orientalis
0.08 Channa Argus
0.0.5 Channa gachua
0.0.5 Channa asiatica

15 Polyterus Senegalus
10 P. Delhezi
10 polypterus ornatipinnis

All polypterus are around 5 inch at the moment and the snakeheads are all different with 2 1.5 inch bleheri being the smallest.

Will try and get pics but all the tanks are setup in a way that the fish rarely have to come out of hiding

You wouldn't happen to be a member of the UK anabantoid society? Just asking as I think I know the guy from germany you got them from.

Good haul though I admire your taste in "oddballs". Paricularly the ornate birchirs. Always wanted some but again, ophidiophobic parents...

nah nothing like that.

and yellowfish no im not a member of the UK anabatoid society. Or any other fish society for that matter. I just find the people in these societies to be quite snobbish and arrogant. The majority don't like new people joining their exclusive club, makes it less special for them lol. But saying that, alot of these society members are great people and very welcoming to new members but it's the old members who have been doing it for years and don't like the fact that im 17 and keep fish that most people can only dream about having lol.

i will be breeding hopefully, but the waiting list for my gachua babies will be close to a year long. I've pu tfriends and other breeders as priorities

If i manage it, there won't be a particuarly long wait for the bleheri, only be selling for the cost of transport. Until i've had a few loads
