Default grrrrr

when i split up with my ex, about a year ago...

he asked me to leave him my little fish tank. just as something to remember me by...

i was quite surprised at the time, cuz he'd never really shown an interest in the fish before, and it had taken me 2yrs to convince him to let me have a second (little) tank...

so i go to his house last weekend, to get my game cube back (finally) and he says i can have the empty fish tank back...

it turns out he'd looked after them to start with, and got bored.
some of them died, and he gave the one that was left to his step dad who had a large setup...

so there's this little tank sat there, with maybe 5inches of water in it, so murky that when disturbed, you couldn't see to the bottom...

and i see something move in it!

there was a cinnamon loach still alive!! (goddess knows how) so i get it back to my house in mansfield.. (he's in lincoln still) and get it in to our big tank, where hopefully it'll do ok...

and then..........

as i'm emptying the tank out... .

MORE movement!

found a bristlenose plec!!

so i now have the 2 fish in my tank with our oscars... and they're doing ok.
i think the clean water was a bit of a shock to the system! but so far they seem to be enjoying the space.

still annoyed with him,.... he should have let me know sooner...
i may well end up with the leopard gecko i bought him for his bday a few years ago too...

yeah...

they're doing fine in my tank now... and he's always been good with looking after the cats, so this kinda surprised me...

he's been really depressed recently, and i think it's just led to ignoring everything else.

next time i go down (to get the games back for my game cube... grrrr ) i think i'm gonna bring back his leo.
he's not sure if he's going to keep her, so if he's not sure, then i'm having her!
