how many guppy babies are born at one time varys from anywhere from 10-20 some have more some less but the most one of mine has given birth to is 20.

as for male and female betta it is better to keep the sexes seperate as you may find the male will constintley harras the female

depends on the age of the female, what size she is, what sort of condition she's in. plus some fish naturally have less/more babies than others.

as for the fighters, you can keep them together but it's usually best not to.

i was in the pet shop the other week and the shop keeper had 4 male fighters in the same tank, he said its ok if the tank is big enough so as the fighters have their own room. one of the fighters fins were mangled, almost bitten off. his fins were little stumps!

i have a male fighter in my community tank and was thinking of getting a femmale fighter. do they breed easily in captivity?
