Default external filter calamity

lol, I had one of those daus today, I was taking my fluval 105 apart for maintenance, and don't know what I did, ut when I took the pipe connection thingy off, water sprayed everywhere, drenching my bed, then, I had a block in the middle of the pipe, and couldn't break it down, I couldn't get to it with anything that was long and thin, so had to suck on one end, and ended up wih a mouth full of aquarium water and decaying leaves(doesn't taste nice at all) I then turn everything back and pop, the bulb blows hahahaaaa

LOL! Reminds me of the time I was moving a rock in my tank. My large plec jumped out and attached itself to my forehead! God that was awful, like being snogged by yer granny, only with wet sandpaper. I felt like ripley in the aliens films!
But the worst thing was, as I franticly tried to peel it off my face, I dropped the rock on the heater, smashing it and zapping my tiger barbs

I take it you're another one that thought that tigers and guppies would play nice?
