orderpends, my local aquatics shop sell bunches for £1-£2, and pots are £2.95, I usually buy pots as they seem to do better in my tank, a lot of aquatics shops also do deals, buy so many plants for such and such price

The plants at the shop by me sells them for around £1-£2 pounds for a small bunch, or £3-£4 for a big bunch. Make sure you know what plants you want because some will grow realy tall (although most are easy to trim down) and some spread realy quickly.

Also, make sure you have the correct type of lighting, some require low lighting which are easy to take care of but some need higher wattage lighting.

Hope this helps slightly.

Yes Crypts are great plants and also easy to look after, there a lot of different crypts as well if you wanted a variety.

things like cambomba and parrots feather do well. alodia, hornwort are also good. vallisneria are good but grow very tall. any of the echidnodorus plants are great as well. most plants will be ok in general tanks

Try one of the mail order places. they do diffenet set ups dependant on the size of your aquarium.. I used Greenline and they were 1st class. I got enough plants to heavily plant a 3ft tank for £10
