Default Has anyone ever kept sea monkeys?

how the hell do u clean the water out and the tank without them dying?

sea monkeys, imo, are a waste of money!

you don't clean the water out, you get a water cleaning powder and you put that in.

but if you've never had them, they hatch, you have lots. The water slowlly gets dirtier and you end up with 1 or 2.

This is just what happen'd to me, other people may have had a better experience

i had them twice and had loadssssssssss n then i cleaned the water out

you should have got this powder, its 'meant' to clean the water, kinda helps but only at first!

use a small powerhead with a sponge filter.

I use them as food for my fish

Have a look on the web for brine shrimp you might find some info.

Hehe sea monkeys I work in an aquatic shop and we sell those as live food. kinda fun to watch tho. I think triops are better

i got the once as a cristmas present and they scared the hell out em ..just look at them on teh box they look like that moster out of aliens!!!...i just imagnined them gtting huge and burstign out my mums stomach or something..still scarey to this day!!!!

an air powered sponge filter is what i use. Literally a chunk of sponge with a air pipe going into in and that keeps the water clean enough for them.
