hes only a baby at the moment but geting bigger

he's tiny. I've only had one for a few weeks while a friend was on holiday. He was only 12 inch long and fantastic. Used to have some big adults at work, they were awesome.

I think they're brilliant fish. Especially if you hand tame them, nothing quite like a 2foot fish coming up to eat skips outta your hand (have you tried feeding him skips, probably not great for them but they go nuts for them, and I think they are pretty good as a rare treat)

Lovely gourami, i love his colour.
Ive got two dwarf honey gourami's.
But this weekend im off to get a bigger tank and then gets some pearl gourami's.
I cant wait....although i am tempted with two oscars, ones £20 and the others £10 cause of their size. lurvely fishies!

feed him raw liver he will grow like mad, my dad use to have one that was 2ft long and it was even to big for twycross zoo to take when he wanted to get rid.

Raw liver is really bad for gouramis and most fish, it is just fat and protein no vitamins and a giant gourami is largely vegetarian. Try chopped banana, apple, carrot, and stuff like that.
