Default Help please..Tropiqiarium 68?!

Hi,

Ive got a tropiquarium 68 and wanted to start from scratch.. the bio life filter thingy in there ist great.. i think i need a new pump filter etc..want something kinda quiter..its ok but its quite old now and the adjustable bit on there to alter the flow coming out of it has broke so its on full whack all the time..

i was just wondering if anyone could recomend a new filter/pump thingy..preferably with built in heater and stat..

Also another quick one..

Anyone know where i can get a decent stand..that doesnt stand too high and can take its weigh??

Cheers,

Scott.

i would pop into your local maidenhead aquatics, i dont know whats closest to you, the biolifes are pretty good filters when they are working properly, any maidenhead would have full access to all biolife spares althugh the filters themselves are discontinued. There are many good internal power filters nowadays, fluval and eheim, although the fluvals would probably be much cheaper, they are very reliable although they dont come with built in heaters. The best type of filters are external canister type although this may be overkill depending on what you are keeping.
Maidedhead branches should carry flat pack stands, they may still be able to get the specific one for the tropiquarium although this would only be in black.
