Default Fuzzy Dwarf and Friend.

Just practicing with my new camera, these two shots aren't too bad.

Introducing...

Dave

And random generic Blue Legged Hermit.

Wow! Gorgeous lion fish, I love those fish. And love the hermit! I love hermits too! I had one of those species as well. Do you find it is out during the day than the others? I did with my one.

Dave or the hermits?

They are both fairly active constantly really.

This particular hermit is a killing machine...he is suspected in the deaths of 3 other blue legs, 2 huge snails (not sure of type) and 4 turbos.

Great looking crab tho.

By comparison the Lion is a major coward...i had to get rid of a coral banded shrimp because it was bullying/attacking Dave.

I was asking if the blue legged hermit was out during the day.

I had 1 turbo death - hermit crab related, and 1 hermit death, from an unknown hermit crab... dont know if it was him or not though.

Awww! The thought of the lionfish being bullied by the banded shrimp is funny! Haha.

That species gets to 6-8" or so does it? What size tank you got it in? When I get back into marine keeping (at uni, and cant have a tank) I'd like to get one of those.

The hermits are always out and about.

These blue ones are gluttons...which is great for cleaning purposes, less so when they see a tasty looking snail.

The tank is a 50g (corner type) and Dave shares the tank with a lemonpeel angel and a Tomato clown.

And of the three Dave is my favourite fish by far...he has got real personality.

I'm not sure about maximum size, but 6-8 sounds likely, this one in probably 5" ish...and hasnt grown much recently (but he was so tiny when i got him).
