Hi, my black moore fancy goldfish has just got a white mark on the side of his face, i'm wondering if he could have grazed it by accident, it's quite shiney like him and it's about half the size of a small button, it's a dull white with little colourfull reflective bits in, he's just as happy and healthy as normal, could he just have grazed it by swimming to close to his log?

it could very well be a scratch but without seeing it i can't really say. just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get fuzzy.... it will fade slowly if it's a scratch.....

well I've just noticed it tonight, so it's just happened so i'll keep an eye on him, it can't get infected can it? There waters sparkling clean and they got a brand new filter this week, so there not dirty, I have some aquarium salt would you suggest I put abit of that in?
