No, I've seen some for sale, seems to be a new introduction to coldwater fish sellers over the last few years. I've been tempted but also put off buying them!

Do you have any? I too would like to see some pictures

I'll see if i can get my mate to put some pics up as he has around 6 of them.

There an amazing fish that gets very big and doesn't reach maturity till around 12 years of age (delay on the caviar im afraid).

Diamond sterlets still get big about 3' - normal sturgeon get the size of the photo HABU posted. (It IS a sturgeon for those who don't believe it!) Water quality in a pond needs to be second to none, no weeds coz they get tangles in them and drown, need to eat meaty stuff like cockle and beefheart n stuff. You can get specific sturgeon food but its processed pellet stuff - not a subsitute!

nice big fish these guys are. Dad used to have a 5 foot longnose and a 3.5 foot diamond. both tame as you like, used to cruise round the pond under the koi.

you wanna feed stuff like mussels and prawns, avoid high fat foods like beefheart though
