Default Old 3some

Hi,

I have had 2 leopard-spotted plecs (sailfin type?) and a red -tailed 'shark' that have been living together for ages . At least 5 or 6 years now. I think the red-tail might even be a few years older than that.

Leopards - 1 is about 7 ins the other 5 ins. The shark is about 4 ins.

How much longer have they got?

See Pics:

not sure how long you got but I do know you have alot of furry algea in your tank, I think (if correct) thats caused by high phosphate levels and can be treated. Like the red tail though, love em!

thats a syno eupterus defiantely. as for high prices, its unlikely. smaller ones are worth more. Shops get stuck with big synos. I think I paid about 40quid for 5 6 inch synos (the ones from lake malawi, i can't spell the species name properly, nyassae or something like that lol)

and that tank needs a clean lol. Get some phosphate remover, and possibly some nitrate remover (check your levels). should die off once it has nothing to live off
