Default Deep sea frilled shark

Just saw a clip of a deep sea frilled shark looks ace ...........but guess what.......................japanese killed it

anybody else heard of it

will post link soon

As far as i was aware they didnt kill it, it died of poor health. They're deep dwellers but this one was found very close to the surface. Admittedly it was removed from the sea but was immediately put into a salt water tank where photos and film were taken.

Think this shark was on the way out anyway.

yeah seen it to it was on the new ages ago but the film was taken in the sea then they removed it and it died but as said above it would of been on its way out anyway to be in such shallow water for the species

Aye wasn't it found floundering about in the top few metres or something....so defo on its way out poor thing Remember reading about this a while back
