dont like this fish. dont see the need to hybridise 2 species, when both the tiger shovelnose and the redtail cat are far superior fish
but hey, thats just my opinion!

i have a RTC x TSN only because the shop didn't know what to do with him as he was brought in after eating the owners guppy's after he put it in his community tank! but have to agree i prefer the pure red tails and tigers
my guy lives with a huge plec and a pair of black pacus (well just turning black)

Out of intrest the redtail blood.would that be the Asian redtail-(HEMIBAGRUS WYCKIODIDES) ??.Or the South American redtail-(PHRACTOCEPHALUS HEMIOLIOPTERUS) ??.
