well how long does it take for delivery?

I recieved an e-mail on

Date: Wed, 7 May 2008 11:02:34

Sayin my order was despatched but yet not arrived!

Dont know how it could of been despatched so quick as i only placed the order 5 minutes before.

I've ordered of other sites and as yet this is the worst for delivery

So i'd like to know were my order is or my money

How about adding a contact phone number so when orders do not arrive or some items are out of stock you can be contacted nfor an explaination.

Good idea..... use the CONTACT US feature on the site it says FUNCTION DISABLED!

Could you not PM this guy before publishing all of this stuff on the forum ... it could be a misunderstanding or the wonderful Royal Mail may still have the package?

well i have spoke to him and he said its the same for ALL live food sites to have them with you within 5 days....

i normally get mine the day after i order them from other sites...

I just hope they turn up monday ALIVE!

can you send me proof that its been dispathed ?

If not i will be contacting PayPal to get my money back.

You think?

His contact is pretty poor waited 2 days for a reply via e-mail...

Still no livefoods on the 6th day tomorrow bein the 7th day...

He's said he'll get his supplier to send another batch out but not holding my breathe on them arriving either.... i'll give it to the end of the week then i want my money back so i can go to a proper livefoods site

I'm not prepared to go get involved in another dicsussion about this, as I have already explained via email. I will simply point out the following:

- Your order was despatched in accordance with our schedule, and in the hands of Royal Mail. As I have said, RM is not within my control.

- I have replied to all your emails promptly (there has NEVER been a wait of 2 days), and you have misrepresented my replies here.

- I have sent a replacement to you, having allowed 5 working days for RM to get your order to you. This is exactly as notified in our terms, which you agreed to by ordering. If you don't accept them, don't order.

- The vast majourity of orders arrive within 48hrs of ordering, some do get lost or delayed in the post. This effects EVERY mail order service.

Please do not order from LivefoodsForGood.co.uk again. You have been rude, libellous, and completely ignored my attempts to explain that we are doing all we can, and this is a fault with ROYAL MAIL and not our service.

I have done everything possible to get your order to you, short of breaking in to a RM sorting office. The VAST majourity of our customers are totally satisfied with our service. Please do not post unture and libellous comments on public forums. They are undeserved.

The contact form is disabled because there were reports of messages being sent that were never received. All communicaition was turned over to email via the address clearly stated throughout the site, and the problem of missing communications was resolved.

The reason there is not a telephone number is simple. I run livefoods for good around my full time job, have done so for over a year. During that time I have never personally profitted (which makes situations like this all the more annoying) with all profits going to our charities or to improve LFG.

I think you will therefore appreciate that I need to continue with my full time job, and cannot make myself available in this way (my patients would not appreciate it).

I always answer emails within 24hrs, usually much quicker, and there is nothing more that can be said on the phone or via a contact form.
