Younger users

im 13 yet i understand what the 'oaps' are on about.

i try not to use msn language as this is a ''older'' forum.

but i see what someone earlier said- some younger people think they are jack the lad so a bit where our join date and post count are would be good to actually say how old and what gender a member of rfuk is!!

Not wishing to sound like the boring uncle, but I sometimes worry about stuff that some older users put on the forum, seemingly without thinking that people of younger years might be reading. There's a time and a place for everything, but some things aren't always appropriate.

I agree with that, there's alot of stuff posted on a daily basis that should definately be in the 18+ section.

I think it would be a good idea to have age and gender at the top of every post, not to be unfair to the young 'uns, just so everyone knows where they stand and who exactly they r talking to.

Must say in my experience on RFUK, i haven't come across any "sub-adults" with bad attitudes, plenty "adults" with stinking manners, but the younger forum members always seem really pleasant, well mannered and more grammatically coherent than alot of the senior members

Im also 12. I have it stated in my sig just to let people know. I find that sometimes people do post rude things but I am used to it in my household lol. Every other word is something bad. There was one time when i was asking for help and everyone gave me positive feedback and helped me overcome my situation apart from one person who gave me a bollocking. Anyway, i think the sub forum for under 16 or summin is a good idea but i dont think i would use it very often as i understand everything said in the normal forums. I take all the advice in that i get and have learnt a heck of a lot over the last month or two. This forum has been great for me so far! Also, i only ever commit to buy something if i have both parents permission.

Also why Label younger members, There are some very knowledgeable young members on here..but when there ages get stated most members turn round and say how can they know anything, its a fact adults dont like being told by a kid imo
