Edit / Delete Thread

Hi,

I recently posted a classified thread within the classifieds section but i want to delete it and start a new thread. Can anyone explain how i would go about doing this???

You'll have to ask a moderator to close it specifically!

We peasants can't delete threads ourselves!

At the top of every post, there is an exclamation mark "report post" button.. like this

Click on that and put in your request for what you would like to be done... ie "please close this thread the item has sold".

Remember that closing / deleting of threads is at a moderators discretion... whilst classified ads are closed to stop them from being replied to months later... reads in the help / chat etc. sections are usually only closed or removed if there is a problem with them (swearing, rules broken, and so on)

This report is sent to all of the moderators, and the first one available will deal with the request

Alternatively if you see a moderator online (green names on the bottom who's online list of the main page) you can send them a PM with your request, but remember to include the URL of the thread you want something done to, as sometimes it can be hard for us to help if we can't find the thread
