Default mahoosive signatures

is there a limit as to how big a sig can be? lately it seems that people have decided to go a bit OTT on their sigs and it takes a FULL page to get past them. on the avergae page there is more writing in sigs than there is in the thread. i quite like seeing some of the signatures so dont really want to have to blank all of the off.

SO.......any chance the mods please get some big pointy sticks and whip the big sig offenders for me? or do we have to start a "big-sig, small ****" like we did with the lol-brigade?!

Just report a post by the member and ask the mods to reduce it?

As per the FAQ:

Quote:
Please do not use any signature that may be negatively affecting forum viewing for other users, particularly large pictures or other images as these affect users with low internet speeds and/or small screen (resolution).
  • A guideline for the maximum size for a signature banner/picture would be approximately 650 x 200 pixels
  • NO Reptile Forum advertisements.
  • NO Referal Links in signatures.
  • NO large (1mb+) .gif or moving images
The size is just a guideline and it really does depend, obviously something taking up half the page or taking 10 minutes to load is not good for users or hosting.

If you think a signature is significantly affecting your usage of the forums or breaks the above rules please report any post made by that user and state that it's for the signature (and why) in the report reason.

Your signature offends me. I'm allergic to Chameleons.
