**HELP NEEDED** How To Display A Banner?

Hi, i have created a small banner using "mybannermaker.com" and have it saved in my photobucket account. I would like to know (step by step if possible) how to put my banner into my posts.
this is what i have tried; opened User CP, click-edit signature,click-insert image then "browse" i have copied and pasted the IMG code from photobucket and pasted it into the box provided. after doing all that ,all i get is a small sqare in the top left corner with a smaller square with a red cross in it inside that. (hope that makes sense?) can somebody please let me know where i am going wrong,thanks in advance, shane.

i just realised you can see what i have created in the bottom left corner of this post ! lol.............help

When you copied and pasted the IMG code did you delete the [IMG] bit off each end? If you didn't then there is your problem

ps......how can i put it in the bottom middle(centre) of my posts?

Go to Edit Signature, the same place you went to add it, highlight either the text or picture, which ever comes up and click the 'centre' icon above the box
