One idea

I have an idea
because this forum is soo big and we all need to constantly keep going through threads we have replied to -to see if anyone is quoting us.

So if someone dose quote us on a thread would it not be a good idea to have something that will let you know when someone has replied to your thread or post.

Just a thought I couldnt find anything about this anywhere.

There is a "Who quoted me?" add on for VB forums

Also, however, if you're just wanting to follow a particular thread, go to "Thread Tools", top right of the first post, then "Subscribe to this thread".

It will appear when you click "User CP" top left of the screen.

You can edit your options in User CP to make you subscribe to threads automatically when replying if you want that.

Also, when replying, you can click the Thread Subscription drop down box down below and click to subcribe.

The modification Ash is referring to does not work for this version that RFUK uses, there was a new version released but it became too buggy due to VB changing the code so much when they released a new version so as a result they stopped making it.

However there is rumours that vB4 will have the feature built into it
