Default confused....

If I submit a post with a few paragraphs in it, well not paragraphs just separate lines, they all disappear after it's submitted. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this before. Any ideas? Also, the 'more smilies' button takes me to the RFUK home page. Is it because I've disabled java and flash and other plugins? ~Slither~

It's got me confuddled too Laura. I've just rechecked the 'more smilies' button by opening in a new tab, and it's different but not fixed. This time it's opened 'reply to post'.
Bump to see if anyone else knows.
*edit* the paragraphs seem to be staying, it's just the 'more smiles' button now.

The more link doesnt rely on java, but if you have strong security setting 'popups' and the like may be being disabled or prevented from working properly. Of course the 'more' smileys box opens in a new window so it might be seen as dangerous by your browser?

Im not sure what you are using for your browser security, but most you can add 'trusted sites', might be worth adding RFUK to see if this fixes it.

I've recently added a few firfox security add-ons. I've got no-script and trackmenot plus maybe a few others. I wouldn't of thought that they'd stop me opening a window I click on though. I'll have a fiddle. Cheers!

I should have read your post better

Ok, I also use no-script, ive just disallowed RFUK and I cannot click on smiles and if I click more I get send to the home page as you discribe.

You will see a litle "S" icon in the bottom right on your FF toolbar, click it and "allow reptileforums.co.uk" this will fix your problem
