Default Shop Reviews

Would it be possible for a shop review section to be made so people can write about shop they're been to and the pros and cons of going there stuff like that?

Thankee

Due to currently legalities and slander etc. it would be very dangerous for the forum to take on the responsibility. Although the opinion is that of users, websites can be held liable for slanderous/damaging information being published.

I think because of that, it would be a lot more trouble than people realise, and the last thing t-bo needs is a lawsuit and the forums shut down.

What about a scoring system? say something like 5 stars is excellent and highly recommended and then 0 stars, not recommended at all?

that way people have the information they need and you can steer clear of any slander alligations.

You then competing shops giving each other low marks and breeders giving low marks if the shop decides it does not want their animals.

How good or bad a particular shop is ... on the day you happen to go in there ... is very subjective.

there must be some way of being able to "name and shame" "name and reward" fairly without the worry of someone suing or something. worth having a think about! Not that it will do me much good as there are f all shops near me!

name and reward shouldn't be too much trouble, nobody is gonna sue if you say good things about them are they? Easiest way name and shame wise may be to mention them as "a certain shop in...." (one springs to mind near me actually) and if anyone asks pm the name, would cover everyones butts in the long run.
