This getting ridiculous.
I joined the forum about 6 months ago, and don't remember seeing an actual "sandfire" beardie for sale. Yet there are several being advertised each week, which are not sandfires. Some are just a yellow colour, and the latest one I have seen is just plain wild-type grey. "Sandfires" come from the Sandfire ranch, and are a specific colour and pattern. Sandfire even have a warning on their site about "Sandfire" Dragons which are nothing of the sort: Sandfire™ Dragon Ranch A beardie who has an ancestor x number of generations ago who came from the ranch is not a sandfire. A yellow beardie is not a sandfire. A pretty beardie is not a sandfire. A grey beardie is definitely not a sandfire. I'm reluctant to post in every single ad, because I expect it will lead to my posts being deleted and warnings/bans being handed out, but it is truly getting out of hand now. I know I'm not the only person who has noticed this. At best it is misleading the buyer through the seller's ignorance; at worst it is blatantly lying in order to double the price for a bog-standard beardie. I don't know what to suggest - does anyone have any ideas? Andy |
