My only worry/concern with this is that we had a chat room before (I think it was flash chat) but it was a total flop... seemed like a good idea but people seem to want to do chat room threads if its a popular enough idea of course I will set it up though.

If its implemented properly it can be done sucessfuly as you know you can set room mods to monitor things etc ( not necesserily your forum mods )..

and the best thing also with 123 Flash Chat is you can do PM's and webcam and audio also so gives those none shy folk to show others what they look like lol.

you could do a CafePress Shop to do some merchandising for RFUK stuff like

Mugs, T-Shirts, thongs, baby clothes fridge magnets etc another way of generating funds for the forum costs etc mate

Good that its Linux also lol as i said WINBLOW servers suck lol

I wasn't trying to be funny dude... Don't know if you saw all the stuff that went on before the CSFC closed down but it was primarily because people were suspicious about what their money had been spent on. It's a can of worms.

No. It just means that they can make posts which can be read over and over by people even a year from now can read them. Where as only people who get to read what goes on in a chat room would be people who are there and then.

Theres not really that much of a demand for it, i know there are a few of you who think it's a brilliant idea, but after a few nights it dies out again, and all the work of setting it up would have died out again too.
