If you are researching a subject, if you read enough of the forum, and then read from other sources, whether it be other forums, websites or books, you will soon find out who is helpful and who is spurting crap all over the place

You can change the title if you mess up anyway, its just a matter of doing it within 2 hours or whatever the limit is.

I don't agree that amount of time spent posting on a forum equates to knowledge - free time maybe, but not experience. Anyone who takes advice without evaluating whats is being said, based simply on how many stars the person who is giving the advice has, should really rethink how they use forums.. and maybe mixing the stars up in this way will help achieve that even!

There is still post count and joined date that allow you to judge someone's contribution to the forums, people will just have to look at the top right of posts now, instead of top left I guess.

I do feel a little sorry for those that took a pride in their star count.. I was quite looking forward to getting my third myself! But.. if the cash generated from this change helps with the costs of hosting and running this forum, and allows it to continue into the future, then in my view it can only be a positive thing and is something I support.
