Hi there,
I have filters in my tanks. I know some people dont use filters but have to clean them out much more often. I would therefore recommend a filter but you could get by without one.
Hope this helps - theres still plenty left
Alex

Hi Alexandra, Im only about half an hour drive from you and I am seriously considering getting some newts but this is the first time I would have anything like these.
I am going on holiday next week but will hopefully source a tank and I can come through and buy some.
How many do you recommend?
Can you tell their sexes yet?
Does the tank need to be escape proof still?
How big will they grow?
How big a tank do you need?

Sorry for the 20 questions but I just want to make sure I get everything sorted before I commit to buying some!

Thanks

Grant
