Default Field herping finds of 2008

Well Guys, Heres all my field Herping finds (amphibians) Of 2008.
Most of these were found un-intentionally, it seem that when I actually set out to find herps, I fail =S.

BTW, I know I shouldnt really of held them but yano I was so excited :P

Common Toad (Bufo Bufo)

Common Frog (Rana Temporaria)

Palmate or Smooth (I forget which xD) Newt

There were also tadpoles and more amphibians found, including a Pool frog (Rana lessonae) Which I was very very happy about
Heres where I found the toad:

Nice herps there! I never see toads though. Never. Where and how do you find them?

Toads seem to be more terrortorial I also find that they can survive in dryer places than frogs, I found this one burrowed in the middle of a tree trunk.

Just look in damp places, e.g under logs, rocks...

Lol, fair enough, I can't say i'd personally be happy about seeing a non-native though! Interested yes, i've never seen one before - assuming this was sighted in Kent of course? Personally i'd contact the relevant authorities to make sure they know that they're there
