Default Proteus/Olm, do people actually keep them?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if people keep olms as pets?

I wondered partly because I saw someone reference them as pets (unlikely) but I wanted to know.

After all, if they are available as pets, I'd love one some day.

I hope that's coherent enough...

We looked after one for Nigel Marvin (off the telly).

It died after a couple of weeks.
