i use a exo terra heat wave rainforest, they are sticky, and i have mine on the side... uder is not great with aboreal species as it loses so much through the substrate... what substrated do you have?

I find that a great solution for some amphibs is a water heater in the draingae layer -just make sure the leca is deep enough and the water always stays at a high level. This heats the tank well, and vastly increases humidity.
Just be careful it doesnt touch the glass!

yeah is a good method, i just find the mat on the side easyer, does save time on misting thoug

damp cocofriber is not a good conductor of heat, it is a very good substrate though.... least you have a few solutions to experiement with now
