Default went down petshop and got myself this..



but this pixie go nap quite often .. is it normal??

tbh i wouldnt have considerd buying one at that size, i recon the mortality rate on soemthing that size would be quite high.

Don't know about 1 that size,but mine spends most of his time almost burried in the substrate and only comes out when he wants feeding,if it wants to do the same I would let it the worst thing to do is keep disturbing it as it will get stressed,as suggested get in touch with polywog they give very good advice.Also the water bowl looks very large for a frog of that size.

He looks a little dehydrated to me, and being as he's only young he looks to be in a fairly large tank. Personally I'd move him into something more the size of a cricket tub with some damp paper towels loosly scrunched up for him to sit in and a bottle top of water. Sit him somewhere warm such as on top of another viv.

thx for all yours friendly advise now she is sitting in her water dish ...

i just fed her 2 crickets and look very happy now

i will move her to a spare crix tub soon when she ready to come out
