If you research alot and dont scrimp on the equipment I dont see why not. D.azureus were my second frogs and my first darts I have another thread with pics of my set up and frogs. I am having a problem with them which i think could be because of housing them in too small a viv.

Beautiful Frogs..just get everything right and do plenty of research first.
i wouldnt choose them as first frogs but i dont see why you couldnt have them as long as your willing to put in the time and energy finding out all you need to know.
be aware though amphibians are very addictive lol

Well you for start . As to backbone, I think I've had enough running battles on here of which you are al too aware. If the cap fits wear it. Maybe a nice SS one.

Happy New Year to all, May 2009 be a good year.

Its a 3ft long aquarium, not sure about the plants, I bought some cheap ones from a local garden center, 3 for £5! theres 3 bromiliads, 5 ferns, one large 'baby tears', a small spikemoss looking plant, and some ones which I dont even know the family.
In the shops your looking at £60-80 each, I bought mine at the barking show for £80 for 2.

I think your best bet is to head along to dendroworld.co.uk, loads of info there and plenty breeders so you can pick up juv's for pretty cheap. But I must agree they are very addictive. They are just so active and bold for frogs which is great.
