Default breeding Barred tiger salamanders (A. Mavortium)

just wondering if anyone has any info on breeding barred tigers? i know its natoriously difficult without the right conditions, but the shear lack of breeding leads me to wonder whether people have been told its too hard and havent even tried. i want to try it in a few years, i have 2 tigers, used to think both males, but as they are maturing im beginning to think one is female, even so i will prob get a couple more, and try to recreate the natural conditions. this is what im looking for info on, the net is very saturated with different answers, so im wondering if anyone has tried breeding them and can share thier experience, what went right n what went wrong?

i wont be attempting this for another year or so, as the salamanders arent that old, and i also need more space, but i wanna start getting my research together early as possible, and get talking to other people who either have or are going to try this.

i think it would be fanastic to get some cb populations of these little gems, and im willing to put the effort in.

Breeding has been achieved but breedings are few and far between. Your best bet would be to use an outdoor enclosure with a fairly sizable pond in it. They should be fine with out climate, introducing them to the enclosure in the spring / summer to give them time to get used to their surroundings before winter, let them hibernate in the outdoor enclosure over winter so long as they can burrow down deep enough to be protected from the frost they should be ok. And just let them do their own thing and you may get lucky.

Check out the Caudata web site. I think there's a Belgian chap who's had some success.
