Question the funny stuff

here's that clear goo i was talking about.. weird huh?

personally ive never seen had anything like it in any of my tanks

yeah, its pretty eew. changed the water 3 days ago - and there's no sign of it - i put the rock outside in the sun after taking it out and washing it so yeah- i have no idea what it was but im glad its gone! mayb someone knows what it was...

That is a biofilm (think plaque on your teeth), OK a very thick one. Basically does what it says on the tin, a whole bundle of things have found something in there to live on.

Drying off the rock is about the best thing that you can do.
