Default Begginer help needed on WTF tank size?

hey every one, I have been very keen on geting a reptile or amphibian and after MUCH research and book hunting and sleepless nights of research i have decided that i would like to keep a pair of WTF's. I have seen a few local and not so local pet stores that sell them, and each time i go and look on the internet for info i get conflicting answers.

E.G. what is the best size tank/tererium to keep these in? and all the answers have ranged from tiny faunariums with lights to big expensive living room wall size terrariums!

I know they are aborial and nocturnal (which is great seeing as im a student and need to save as much space as possible in my room so taller instead of wider is great! lol)

rant over... lol basicly i need to know which would be the best exo terra terrarium that would suit a pair of whites tree frogs? i was looking at the 12"x12"x18" would this be ok to accomadate them comfortably or would it be best to get the 18"x18"x24" one. I want to be able to provide a good home so they can be happy and natural, not be a cheapscate and cram them in. i also plan on getting the exo terra fogger to add to the tank aswell as lots of vines cork bark and fake plants to mainly make them feel secure but also make it look beautiful, would the fogger be ok for them?

thanks in advance for the help.

Hi welcome.
Its good to see a beginner concerned about space for thier frogs.
I would say 18 18 24 is the minimum for three Whites as they are fairly large as adults.

Like most treefrogs they are nocturnal and use very little space in the day but can turn into an unruly mob at night and cover every inch of the viv several times over.

They are great characters and all have an individual personality. Have fun

ive seen a pairs of whites in 18inch cubes and they seem ok but i agree that the 18x18x24 is much better for more than 1 frog

hey, thanks for the input, yes, the reason im questioning so much or concerd as mentioned is that i had a marine reef system with seahorses which i did a years worth of research before i bought anything, as im sure people now you have to do with such a set up lol and its kind of a double edged sword because, know i now that i have to read on every little detail about the history habitat biology etc before any animal is bought, BUT i always get nervouse before bying thinking wether i could do any more research if i know enough to look after them etc etc etc but i thought id ask the people who hve them like you knowledgble people instead of reliyng on stores so thanks again lol!
