African Clawed Frog Care Sheet - Feedback Please

Hi guys,

I've just wrote this basic care sheet for the African Clawed Frog. I noticed there are a few ACF keepers on the forum - would you mind having a read and letting me know if it's all OK?

Hi Phil -I have only been keeping acfs for 4 wks now and could have done with a lot of this info a few weeks ago. i think it is well put together. the only thing I do differently is that I have used a heater just to ensure that the temperature stays at 24 degrees as I always intended to introduce a couple of fishy tankmates! I added 2 x green severum yesterday and after originally sussing each other out they are now quite content with each other - lol - rich

I've never kept them myself, I researched several sites and books. I'll double check the temperature; my understanding was only the Dwarf African Clawed Frogs needed a heater. ...I'll double check.

hi phil - my understanding is that they DO NOT necessarily need a heater - I just have one as I keep tropical fish in with them so keep them at 24 degrees which I don't think would be maintained at normal uk temperature - hope this helps - rich
