keep it cool room temp should be ok, I keep mine on bark chipings that are about quarter of an inch in water. feed slugs, worms, crickets etc

Any idea what sex or subspecies look at pollywogs website for further advice and pics

Default ecoearth

i would say the best substrate for fire sals would be eco earth. have some logs and hides, have a nice water bowl so the salamander can have a soak (not to deep though) as said above keep in a nice cool room.
