Question red eyed tree frog help

Hi guys and gals. So, I know that I am getting an Exo Terra compact light canopy for my 60 x 60 terrarium. This will house 3 red eyed tree frogs..but I cant seem to find the bulbs I need....

What combination should I get? I need some UVA because I have live plants, but not alot of heat cause it is already at 75degrees F, and would like to get a night view light ...maybe one of one kind and two of the other....so, what should I get and can I have the lights on a timer to switch by themselves from day to night?

Please only answer this if you have successfully owned a red eyed tree frog for a while as I do not want to follow bad advice. Many thanks in advance.

Mean to add. There are 2 UV type bulbs 2% and 5%...I think that one 5% and 2 night lights or two 2% and one night light would do it....but cant seem to find night lights for this canopy type? ALso, there are several references that say a red light would be better for this type of frog, but I cant find one of those either without it being a spotlight that produces very high heat....? I want to use this canopy becuase it looks better...but there is another that has two long bulbs and holds one or two spot lights as well.....really could do with some help here.

Hi I use 2% uv lamps other people use 5%.
As for night lamp there is no lamp thats meant to be used with the canopy this is because of the heat it will melt the fitting.

You can fit a Night Glo Moonlight Lamp but you want the one that looks like a tube. And only get the 15watt maybe 25w max. As this bulb gets hot fast. I did buy one but I got my money back on it because of the heat it gave off.

Hope that helps

It is my understanding that the night lights only let off a small amount of heat and do not effect the drop in nighttime temps...see....this is so frustrating! I dont want to use basking type lamps...they look aweful and as I have three children I feel a canopy one would be safer. Especially as they are meant to be used with my tank type. #

Thanks for replying toxic

Ok I had 25watt one and it got so hot it was crazy put it this way I was not able to tuch the bulb or the light dish I tested it in. No way I was going to fit it in the canopy

I cant say anything about night time temps as I did not use the bulb But I all so have children and use the 60cm canopy

Oh and yes you can use a timer for the light not the lights you have 3 light. 2 on one power switch and 1 on its own switch but thay all run of one cable. The design on the canopy sucks if you dont mind modding the canopy then you can run each set of lights on seperate power cable
