Default My birthday + xmas presents!

I've joined the frog-keeping community! Here are my 2 new whites tree frogs, Rose and Bud! Rosie is on the left, slightly larger than Buddy who is on the right.. I'm sure he will soon catch up tho, he's a bit greedy!

Buddy!

Buddy again! (Not favouritism, just had him longer so got more pics of him!)

I think that Buddy is definately a boy and I hope Rosie is a girl but I'm not certain. Very pleased with both of them though!

They are cute...I just think whites go ugly when they are adults (sorry) that is why I went for RETFs. I like things of beauty. I also like the look of Vietnemese blue tree frogs but cant find a care sheet so thought I had better leave them be. How big are your frogs? I wonder if it works with Whites, but you could try holding them gently but firmly behind the forearms (dont need to lift them) and if they make a croak it is a boy...my baby common toad makes a little tiny croak (but he is only the size of a pound coin)

Welcome to our world, highly addictive, but rewarding...

Whites get ugly when they're older?? I couldn't disagree more but each to their own eh!?

Blue vietnemese frogs need basically the same care as whites. Must be be a large tank/viv. I have one, it isn't hard to care for at all!! They are cool frogs!

Well I've heard Buddy calling but Rosie I havent heard make a noise... apart from when i tried to hand feed her a cricket and it crawled on her head... she let out a lil squeak lol.. As for them being ugly when they're older, I have seen them with big brows (which I believe is to do with being over-fed) but I still wouldnt call that ugly.. I like the fact that they're like little dollops of frog lol it all adds to their charm!
