Unhappy Injuries you aquired through amphibian keeping

Has anyone hurt themselves in the process of keeping amphibians such as habitat building or when frogs attack? lol

I've had the worst back pain ever the last couple of days after lifting and moving my white's tank around that thing is HEAVY

I think that's why most of us here chose amphibs, because in general we are all cowards and are scared of being bitten.

Worst thing I've done (it's very minor) was handling a newt after a bike accident, my hands were all cut up.

The little bastard must have thought I was going to eat him and toxified me

I had a bad rash after cleaning out my FBT tank with no gloves on. I had run out of gloves so i got the FBT to hop into a tub and then proceeded to clean him out. I done a complete strip down and washed the tank out. The next day my hands were red a sore due to the toxins in his skin. i went to the doctors and there was not much he could do apart from give me some cream and advice me next time to wear gloves.

this is a mistake i wont be making again
