Default My baby White's

Ok... So i got 3 baby whites on Wednesday... But they seem to spend the majority of their time on the ground, not up in the vines and plants. As they are tree frogs this doesn't seem normal to me :-s
Can anyone help?! I have only had them 2 days now so maybe they are still settling in, but I would rather be safe than sorry, and I want the little fellas to be happy and healthy
Is this normal? Or should I be worried?
They seem to spend most time under the fern and the habitat hut i have in my viv, is this maybe becuase that is where they feel safest as they are hidden? Should I try and create more hiding spaces higher up in the viv?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

they should as a rule spend most of the time sleeping up in the 'trees' it's ok for them to spend time when they are awake down on the ground. how tall is the viv? and how many plants do you have for them to hide amongst? is the tank warm enough? I had this problem at first with just the one of mine, she was forever digging herself in. all I did was raise the temp up a bit and she was fine. they all sleep up the top now.
they don't need hiding places on the ground. do you have vines or branches in the set up?

it could very well be just settling in stuff, but it isn't right for them to be on the ground all the time.

good luck and keep us posted xx

They don't sleep on the ground, they all find there own little spots around the viv higher up to sleep. But its just when they are awake they just tend to wander around the floor and rarely climb up anywhere.
I have an exo terra 45x45x60 viv... with branches and vines in it. I have 3 hanging plants and 2 standing plants in there.
The temp is usually around 30c, i have a large habistat heat mat on the side of the viv, tho i am thinkin maybe i should get a small one to put underneath, just to get the temp up a little. The humidity seems to stay about 50% even with a few sprays each day, im still working on getting the humidity up.

well all that said, it sounds fine to me, the temp is good, don't raise it anymore. the humidity needs to go up a bit though, just mist the tank a little more often. and cover over the mesh at the top if you haven't already. otherwise don't worry! it's normal for them to be at the bottom if they are awake. it's usually where they hunt.
but honestly otherwise everything you are doing is right!

Good to hear it thanks for the advice... I will sort out the humidity as soon as possible. Im sure I have something at home that would be suitable to cover over the mesh.
Thanks again.

like jen said thats perfectly normal. Both of my baby whites do that too, as soon as the lights go off on the tank at night 10 minutes later they are both on the bottom waiting to be fed lol. What colour are they when they are awake generally if they are bright green they are happy and they arent if they are brown.

LOL, no worries, just didn't want others getting worried about the colour of their frogs, like I did when I first got mine.
