Default A question from my girlfriend

Went up to Neongecko today up near the barras for a heat lamp fixture and bulb ,ended up spending about 10 minutes watching the bearded dragons in the back furiously bobbing their heads up and down.

what on earth are they doing?

it's a dominance display, usually performed by males
were they young or adult?

they looked quite big , there was three in one enclosure , with a tortoise, and three in another .
Including the tail I'd put them at about a foot , just under maybe

hopefully they won't be keeping males together at that size
i'm gonna guess and say it's a male displaying to the females; who normally arm wave as opposed to head bobbing
