We had some R. reticulata that were around 12yrs and a fair number of O. pumilio that are around 13yrs (that were originally wild caught confiscations too!).

All dart frogs have a surprisingly long life expectancy for their size, ive read journals estimating 10-20 years for some species! Thumbnails are particularly delicate and can die from the smallest change in environmental stimuli - have you done anything differently lately? could the weather be getting too warm for them etc?

sorry about your froggie im sure it was no fault of your own *hug*
