Thumbs down When should I stop feeding ACF tads?

I have three Xenopus tads. They've just popped out their front legs and I understand that I should stop feeding them when they start absorbing their tails. Is this an obvious point? I worry that since you can't really see them "eating" that I'll miss that transition.

Thanks very much for any help.

*Shameless bump*

OK. Maybe I didn't phrase that question correctly. How 'bout:

I've been feeding my African Clawed Frog tads powdered egg yolk, powdered fish flakes and strained peas baby food and they've done very well. Now that their front legs have sprouted, should I treat them and/or feed them any differently?

Thanks for any help.

Dave

yeh your right, when the front legs fully emerge and the tail starts to absorb, stop feeding. only start feeding on normal diet (what ever that is) once all of their tail is gone.
